The Thai nationality and multilingual, Ms. Kavinthip Phalajivin (Sine) was born and raised in Thailand. She speaks three languages: Thai, English, and Chinese. With seven years of professional work experiences in the banking industry, she worked in credit risk management, credit analytics, and corporate & SME portfolio management.
Prior join MUP, she worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager (AVP) at one of the top-ranked commercial banks in Thailand. She provided the credit portfolio dashboard and provided strategic new business opportunities with a well-management of both return and risk.
Her education background is Business Administration and International Economics and Finance. She holds two master degrees from MBA, University of Hong Kong, and from International Economic & Finance, Chulalongkorn University – the top-tier university in Thailand. For the bachelor degree, she also graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Economics.
Her expertise focuses on business & strategy development, customer insight, and corporate credit risk approval. She has a knowledgeable not only in the Thailand market but also an international context. Therefore, she can provide personalized services to customers who interested to invest in Thailand or other countries.
Her proven track record of success such as a representative of HKU MBA joined a start-up business case competition solving a youth unemployment problem - Hult Prize 2019 Tokyo Regional Summit. Won HKU MBA's the best business project team award 2018. Obtained the two winning credit risk management awards in 2014 and 2016 from The Siam Commercial Bank. A Recipient of the Ph.D. scholarship from University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in 2010.
